Leonardo - Inter Coach
"This is a completely different moment and every game is a different story."
"This team has its basic structure but every game offers a different challenge. Naturally I'll start with the fittest, most on-form players I have available. The league is one thing, the Champions League another. We have various options at our disposal, although fewer than we do in the league"
"Yes, I watched the final in Madrid. Which side was I supporting? Whatever I answer could be interpreted as insincere. But I was cheering on Inter; I was supporting the Italian team. It was satisfying to see Inter win that match,"
"We've come through an energy-sapping period but we've recovered well and go into this Champions League game with massive motivation. What are Bayern Munich's strengths and weaknesses? Every team has them. Would I settle for a 3-2 win tomorrow? We know how it works in Europe. Unlike in the league, that wouldn't be the best result."

Javier Zanetti - Inter Captain
"I feel good and I'm enjoying the moment: we've been very successful in recent years and we want to achieve even more success. I want to be useful to this team; I feel important here and I hope to make my contribution tomorrow as well."
"We have 180 minutes ahead of us; that's the main difference compared to when we faced Bayern Munich in May,"
"They are a different team to the one they were then and tomorrow will be a different game, but we hope to play as well as we did then. Bayern are a top team but we have to try and control the game and get the win; we must play as a team, be compact and then hit them when we can. We have to be careful not to let them have too much space. We're ready for them and we're aware of our strength. This is the Champions League: we want to progress."

Louis van Gaal - Bayern coach
We can't compare a final with the round of 16. The team have changed, some players have arrived, some others left. Maybe some players are still thinking about that game, but everybody knows we want to win and last season's final has nothing to do with that. After [José] Mourinho left I don't think Inter changed that much. Some players are still injured, some recovered but that's not important, probably the only big change is the coach. The most important thing is that they did not change how they played. If you watched the final or if you watch Inter playing every week, they play defensively.
If I'm the coach of a team, I always want three or four creative players in my team and I don't want them to get injured.
We were missing some of our quality players in the first part of the season but now things have changed – with them back we're doing better, you can see it in the results we're getting. Someone says our back line has problems, but I don't agree. Just look at the statistics.
